The following conditions prevent a parent from instructing their child:

DWI on your driving record within 7 years.

Criminal negligent homicide, even probated.

6 or more points on your driving record.

Your license has been suspended, forfeited, or revoked in the last 3 years.
The instructor MUST BE: Student's Parent OR Designated Person (*at least 25 years old & Licensed for 7 years) Step-Parent / Grandparent / Step-Grandparent / Foster Parent Legal Guardian appointed by a court ****A power of attorney is NOT a legal guardian****
