WE STILL OFFER DRIVING LESSONS

The State of Texas mandates that ALL students under the age of 18 complete a Driver's Education Class. Wise Driving School will provide your teen with 32 hours of combined instruction with 6 hours at WDS and the remaining 26 classroom hours plus 14 In-Car hours with our Partnered Parent Taught Curb Buster Program . We offer YEAR ROUND classes.  This also includes taking the actual Written Permit Test in Class with us.

     After your child completes the required 6 Classroom Permit hours, He/she can go to your local DPS office to obtain their Permit and begin the driving portion with you as we Wise Driving School will transfer his/her classroom records to our Parent Taught Course CurbBuster #104. This will allow you, the parent, to finish up the required classroom and driving hours with your teen at your convience.  If you would like your child to drive with us we will be offering private lessons for an additional fee of $75 per hour in our vehicle.

To obtain a Learners License (Driver's Permit) you must have:    
1. Official birth certificate or Passport
2. Social Security Card
3. DL-5 Form-Texas Residency Affidavit
4. DL-14A Form-Application for Texas Driver’s License
5. Two acceptable forms of address verification as listed on Form DL-5.
6. Texas Drivers Education Certification (DE-964) "FOR LEARNERS LICENSE ONLY"
7. Processing fee of $16.00 (Exact amount of cash, check, or Credit card. 
8.  Verification of Enrollment (VOE) in school less than 30 days old
